Brief History: In 1257, Cago arrived for the First Awakening Festival, and Uniwa visited the Crossing for the First Time. They have a spontaneous commune, the first recorded. They are married immediately.

When Uniwa is killed in 1993 during the First Gnarrhys War, Cago nearly commits suicide, but slowly recovers and in 2345 is involved in the final battles of the First Gnarrhys War.

During the Second Gnarrhys War, Cago is among those who battle Reynold's forces on Phyllistine.

Brief History: Carlin was a twin. His family was closely related to Lea, the queen of Leadom, and she considered Carlin to be her brother.

In 10891, Carlin is hunting in one of the forests near the border of his sister's country. He brings his kill across the border. Lea immediately jumps to the conclusion that he has broken the law. She chases him back to the Valley. His hunting companions confirm he was not hunting in Lea. To prove his archery skill, he shoots an apple from a tree directly above her head. The apple falls onto her head, but the irritation that Carlin felt Awakens his Imrhys power. The arrow, empowered by magic, continues speeding around the ring. It returns once every year, going around and around the ring, coming up from the south and going around to the north. The return of Carlin's Arrow is now celebrated as a major holiday in that quadrant, and many bets are placed on what the arrow will go through that year.

Lea is his sister. She quickly realizes that their relationship does not make for a peaceful mentoring system, so she sends him to the Hovden Isles, who send him to Zierath.

In the fall of 10988, Zierath was summoned by members of his military to go to Fitzcairn Fortress. When he and his young protégé Carlin arrive, they discover that the military outpost has been taken over by the Sithnarn vampire Rrex Grrolla and Old Dolph. The two Imrhys battle the vampires and narrowly defeat them. Old Dolph is destroyed, and Rrex Grrolla is buried beneath tons of rubble beneath the ruins of Fitzcairn Fortress.

In Dekruary of 13153. Carlin and Nicholas the Axe-Mage are summoned to track down a newly Awakened Imrhys. The neo-Imrhys Landa lashes out, injuring both Imrhys. The two Imrhys eventually out-think Landa and take him into custody.

In Yakuter 28, 13518. A full mantean revolt ensues when the Mad Hatter and Clint get into a fight. Manteans spread across Abatwar, Abatwar Annex, and the neighboring countries. Many Imrhys lords -including Ambrosius, Stavius, Xiola, Pagnucci, Carlin, Dan'l the Wang, Braithe, and Zierath - and their armies crack down on the manteans and drive them back to Abatwar. The Mad Hatter is able to regain control of the hords.

Carlin is heavily involved in the Fourth Gnarrhys War.

Brief History: Caroleiza is the ruler of the desert country Caroleiza. She rules it with an iron fist, yet is a fair ruler. Her brother Shakoxinta is the one who challenges her decisions the most, although she has learned to respect his questions.

Throughout much of her rule, a mysterious figure by the name Druachit Modia has formented rebellion against her. When she was forced to kill some of the rebels, she had her brother Shakoxinto and Kumahr appointed as a magistrate to find the rebel.

Santil 15, 13706. After a millennia of searching, Kumahr discovers that Shakoxinta is Druachit Modia. He sends a message to Caroleiza, who is meeting with Shakoxinta. She reads the message and blasts Druachit Modia through a pillar and collapses part of her palace on him. Druachit Modia is taken into custody.

Brief History: Cass-idy was born in the country of Leadom, but her parents were from Miller. Every other year, they would travel back to the Teepee Fortress and attend the Tomahawk Ceremony. In her 20th year, the Dathrhys Lord Coreshkey attacked the Ceremony. Many Miller citizens were killed. Without thinking, Cass-idy grabbed the Tomahawk. Miller's skeletal hand finally fell off the Tomahawk. The Tomahawk triggered Cass-idy's Imrhys power, and she destroyed Coreshkey.

Cass-idy is trained by many elder Imrhys, and eventually became ruler of a small country called Cass-id. She has several tumultuous encounters with the other Imrhys, including Druachit Modia and the Axemage.

Brief History: Andris Chase is born. Her mother Meave dies in childbirth. Her father, the mighty warrior Allard, names her Andris - a boy's name - which means 'strong' or 'manly.' As she grows, Allard is unimpressed by his daughter, who is small like her mother.

When Andris is 10, Allard marries Doreen, a widow with two sons. They all berate Andris, who is small, quick and clever, as opposed to the two sons, who grew quickly and strong.

On Bruil 13, -400, Vampyre summons a tendril of Gnarrhys corrupts a small human tribe on Seefell. On this night, Andris flees the house after her father, step-mother Doreen, and step-brothers berate her for not being big and strong like she is. The tendril changes the child-like Andris into a vampire, and she returns to her house to exact her revenge. She becomes the first Dewynnian Vampire.

On Bruil 29, -400. After killing every mammal in what is now known as the Dead Oasis, Andris and the other eight vampires exit the Dead Oasis and attack and kill many of the neighboring tribes in the following nights.

Brief History: Cherllanne was born to a poor peddler, but was not content with her station in life. Her first husband was another poor man, and together they had a child Emory. It was evident from an early age, Emory had a true talent with jewels and jewelry. Using Emory's gifts, the family becomes more prosperous, but not where Cherllanne wanted to be. She kills her first husband and spreads the story that he ran off with a younger woman.

In 13010, Cherllanne and Emory move to Lah Loir and set up a new shop. Cherllanne finds, seduces, and marries a local nobleman. A couple of months later, he has a convenient accident. The following year, Cherllanne re-marries for a third time to a influential politician. This time, Cherllanne convinces Emory to use her powers to kill him. The rich widow marries for a fourth time; he is killed in a Ring Shudder that Emory causes.

Cherllanne encourages Emory's and Nicholas's relationship, but when Emory moves too fast and loses her connection with Nicholas and becomes a fugitive, Cherllanne is furious, and admits that she killed Emory's father. When soldiers come for Emory, Cherllanne interferes and attacks the soldiers, who kill her. Emory goes berserk and destroys the soldiers.

Brief History: Chrissal is a 5th Age Imrhys who trained as a healer. He went to the Isles of Metcalf to learn all he could.

Ryan the All-Bright was born on Ronolom 4, 11456 in the mountains of eastern Kerkovia. Solar flares so massive they could be seen with the naked eye erupted from the sun. As soon as the flares started to occur, Chrissal hurried from the Isles of Metcalf back to his hometown. Ryan was the only child born in the village during that flares. Chrissal became Ryan’s ‘brother,’ and Chrissal quickly took over his education and training.

Chrissal is involved in the Fourth Gnarrhys War.

Brief History: Cindy, a court scribe of the Old Empire, is told to go to the island of Wang and get the full story of Mik'l. A little resentful of having to go from the civilized, urban Old Empire to the barbaric Wang, Cindy does go. She arranges to interview Mik'l. On the way in to Wang City, a group of frigs attack the caravan. Cindy Awakens and destroys several of the frigs. After the initial burst of power, Cindy is exhausted, and the Friggurnaut attacks. Mik'l appears in the nick of time and drives the Friggurnaut underground. Cindy changes her name to 'Cind'ee' and stays in Wang, sending her report back to the Old Empire. She refuses the official request for her to return to the Old Empire. Cind'ee and Mik'l marry.

Mik'l and Cind'ee arrange several Frig hunts, destroying as many of the Dathrhys as they can.

At the beginning of the Third Gnarrhys War, the frigs drive the other sentient races off the island of Wang. On Santil 29, 10058. Mik'l, Pet'r Dan'l, Cind'ee, Zierath, Ambrosius, Dante, and Bruno invade Wang. They drive the Friggurnaut back underground, but at the cost of Dante's life.

In 14777, Mik'l and Cind'ee become the parents of Ton'e.

Brief History: Clermont Awoke during a vampire attack on his village in 2335. He generates an incredibly bright light that incinerated over a hundred vampires in a single burst. Bilbur takes Clermont under his wing and starts training him.

Clermont and Bilbur fought long and hard in the First Gnarrhys War. In the final confrontation against Vampyre, the Nine Bearers of Light and their protoges attempted to seal the Gnarrhys Lord into the ground. Bilbur was about to lock the seal when he was struck by a flaying tentacle. Clermont jumped on the lid and sent his entire life force into sealing it. Clermont died in Bilbur's arms.

Brief History: Clint the Black Paladin is the brother of Xiola and the Mad Hatter.

The Mantean Revolt in 13518 and 13519 ensues when the Mad Hatter and Clint get into a fight. Manteans spread across Abatwar, Abatwar Annex, and the neighboring countries. Many Imrhys lords -including Ambrosius, Stavius, Xiola, Pagnucci, Carlin, Dan'l the Wang, Braithe, and Zierath - and their armies crack down on the manteans and drive them back to Abatwar. The Mad Hatter is able to regain control of the hords.

Brief History: In 7256, Taylor Coandra, descendent of Coe and a white mage, finds the moss covered statue of Etakeh.Taylor uses powerful magics to awaken with Etakeh as a garilium, complete with conscience. Etakeh becomes Taylor's servant.

After a long illness, Taylor Coandra dies in 7303. Etakeh is freed. She begins to travel and find more garilium.

Brief History: A Day Between Years –1, 1993. Thousands of vampires, led by the Gnarrhys Lord Vampyre, attack the Crossing. Thousands of inhabitants die in the attack, including Vagna, the mother of the Darrhys, and Uniwa. Zorn the Ancient, Dharrius, and Shandra of the Turhys escape. The Imrhys Winneshiek, Olaf, Wescon, Coe, and Larsen escape. A few hundred humans, elves, dwarves, and animen escape as well. Vampyre sets up the Crossing as his home base.

Coe is one of the Imrhys who participated in the final battle of the First Gnarrhys War.

In 4849, Coe and the vampire lord Etakeh meet on Mount Riehm and battle each other for hours. Coe uses shadows to hide the actual time of day, and the sun comes up. Etakeh slays Coe, and Coe's shadow illusion dissipates, leaving Etakeh stranded in the sunlight. Etakeh turns to stone.

Brief History: Cohl is one of the ancient Immortal Elves the Turhys. His birth is lost in antiquity and was already a revered elder at the time of the Change. Both he and his wife Shandra were invited by his father-in-law Zorn the Ancient to be part of the Change. On A Day Between Years 1, 1000 years before the Imrhys, the Turhys create the Dark Chaos - the Gnarrhys. Out of the 100,000, the Ancient and eight of his children survive the onslaught of charge, including Cohl. The Turhys across the Achar are affected, turning the turhys across the ring mortal. The nine Turhys also begin to age, albeit slowly.

Realizing that their time on the Ring is limited, the Turhys start looking for replacements.

In -250, Zorn the Ancient and Cohl arrive in Scottlund, chasing the Sithnarn. Many races of animen travel with them, including the lobos, the chatara, the bandit, the ursan, the dermyl, and the avians. The animen spread out and make homes throughout the continent. Zorn the Ancient and Cohl track down the nest of the Sithnarn. Sithnar flees to South Hagan. Darla Sun, Sithnar's eldest child and wife, flees eastward into the hylands. The Ancient and Cohl track her down and destroy her with the help of the Marristal Clan of Dratchma. In -242, Plung Marristal, Anndrea Marristal, and Cohl create the Ruby Katana.

In the year 0, The nine Turhys create the first nine Imrhys.Cohl brings in his friend Winneshiek, who is given the Ruby Katana.The following year, two of the vampire clans track down the Turhys at The Crossing. The Sithnarn - led by Sithnar - and the Goths - led by Nights'maron - are extremely surprised by the Imrhys and are soundly defeated. The first confrontation between the Imrhys and the vampires clans.

During the First Gnarrhys War, Cohl helped herd Vampyre to its tomb.

On Jazzuary 29, 13240, Beautiful Oblivion, Draygon, Carnath, and Carnath's clan of Babd vampires attack the Lighthouse of the Turhys, killing the elves stationed there, including Cohl, father of the Shandrhys.

Brief History: Colletta was a simple farmer's daughter on the isle of Phyllistine. Her mother is a descendent of Iwa. She was content to be a farmer when the Dragons of North Hagan attacked Phyllistine in 1506. Colletta was in the midst of the battle. She Awoke and forced the dragons to return to North Hagan. Larsen had been traveling to Phyllistine to help drive the dragons off. He saw them fly off. Larsen took Colletta under his wing. He was then training two young Imrhys, Marvick and Colletta.

Three years later, Colletta and Marvick married.

During the First Gnarrhys War, Colletta was heavily involved. She became Larsen's back-up person and stood by his side as they drove Vampyre into its cage in 2345. After the final battle, Larsen passed the Diamond Saber into her care.

During the Second Gnarrhys War in 4807 AI, the Second appeared on the Campused Colony. Colletta and a coalition of other Imrhys attempt to seal the Second into the center of the island. The Second explodes out of the island and flees to Klein. The explosion kills Allamkee and Terloo. The Colony, once a beautful resort, is now a crater. Eventually, it becomes a prison.

In 4821 AI, the Dathrhys lords Reynold and Jarduk and their children, the Jyden and and the Boling invade the Isles of Hovde, starting with Phyllistine. Phyllis, Marvick, and Colletta have to flee to Hunt and Daveed, but Reynold and the other dathrhys track them down. During the battle, the Gott royal family is killed, and the three Imrhys go into hiding. Reynold becomes the Tyrant of the Isles.

In 4868 AI. In a massive rebellion, the combined Imrhys forces of Phyllis, Daveed, Colletta, Constanza, Marvick, Olaf and Cago drive the Dathrhys out of the Isles of Hovde. Daveed and Reynold face off in the shattered remains of the Prime Huntian Spire. Reynold is destroyed. Jarduk disappears into the ocean, and Sithnar and the his vampire children the Sithnarn are driven to Scottlund.

During the Third Gnarrhys War, Colletta was one of the primary protectors of the Isles of Hovde. On Bruil 6, 10066 AI, as the Imrhys are watching the seas, Sacha leads the landbased Dathrhys and vampires against the Imrhys. Colletta and the others fall back, but rally a couple weeks later and capture Sacha.

In Ipsen 16, 11200 AI. Colletta travels to Kerkovia. At the urging of the Diamond Sabre, she passes the weapon to Kerkove.

Colletta remains the Administrative Assistant of the Hovden League.

Brief History: Constanza is the daughter of Totiana, Queen of Avalonia.

During the Second Gnarrhys War, Constanza helped free the Isles of Hovde from the Dathrhys lords Jarduk and Reynold. She led the attack against a clan of rogue manteans in Klein, decimating them.

After Totiana's death, Constanza becomes the ruler of Avalonia.

During the Sixth Age, Constanza gives birth to Marea in 13453. When Marea turned 100, Constanza turned control of the mystic land over to her daughter and she started traveling around the Achar.

Constanza ends up in Orian. Here she gives birth to Amila in13688. On Scotbode 1, 13698, at the annual Dragon Hatching in Orian, Manticore hatches. Rather than bonding with any of the chosen riders, Manticore goes to the hiding place of 10 year old Amila, who isn't even supposed to be there. The two bond, much to Constanza's joy and irritation.

At the start of the Fourth Gnarrhys War in 13708, In 13708, Amila is on patrol with Manticore when they are attacked by many possessed mojoan vampires. She falls off Manitcore and and escapes into the labyrinth of caves in the mountains above Newcastle. Amila ends up in the cavern of Kneeonica. She finds Kneeonica the Dragon Sword. The intelligent sword jump starts Amila's Awakening and she uses her new power to save Manticore. She hurries to the capital city and finds the possessed have taken over the city. Constanza was battling Mojoa himself as Invera, hidden from Amila's view, possessed her. Amila and a few other Dragonriders, fly towards the Isles of Metcalf.

Constanza is used by Innux to possess Lisawait, Khillan Kahn, and the Sailor.

The freeing of Constanza is a major plot point in the Fourth Gnarrhys War Series.

Brief History: Coreshkey is the parent of the Coreshes, a race of manta-ray like Dathrhys. He appears throughout the history of the Achar.

During the Third Gnarrhys War in 10058, Coreshkey and his coreshes try to invade Klein. Julieklein and Ha-Gen drive them off.

On Noon Year 2, 12520, Coreshkey attacked the Amethyst Tomahawk Ceremony in Miller. It killed many Miller citizens are killed. A young human woman named Cass-idy grabbed the Tomahawk. Miller's skeletal hand finally falls off the Tomahawk. The Tomahawk triggers Cass-idy's Imrhys power, and she destroys Coreshkey.

Brief History: The Craigling King is the father of the Craiglings, small sharp toothed Dathrhys who are very effective illusionists.

In –565 The Craigling King hears about WALT and its relationship to the Turhys. He decides to go after the ancient tree. The Turhys Androse stops the Dathrhys lord, but can’t drive them out of the mountains. Speaking through Androse, WALT makes the prediction: On the day the light healer and the maroon defender minds meet shall the Illusions of Darkness be struck down by Green, Scarlet, Azure, and Red. And the Ancient Tree shall feast on the Craigling King!'

Over the years, the Craigling King makes many attempts to get at WALT to destroy the tree, but is always defeated and flees.

During the 4th Gnarryhys War, the Craigling King faces his ultimate destruction.

Brief History: Katie Crooks is the daughter of a robber baron who was in rebellion against a tyrannical king. He raised her to be a very effective guerilla fighter, highwaywoman, thief, and pickpocket. She was also unmatched in archery.

OnIpsen 29, 13773 the King of Labyrinth finally tracks down the robber baron and his band. The King’s men attack the hideout, but Katie Awakens and holds the King’s men at bay long enough for everyone to escape.

Brief History: Curly was born with very powerful mental abilities. He was inducted into the Mad Psionicist Club at age 6 and was raised by the Mad Hatter of Abatwar.

In 13700, Curly becomes the leader of the Mad Psionicist Club.
